Lincecum named NL All-Star starter

The 80th All-Star Game is about to Freak out.
Tim Lincecum, the wondrous San Francisco right-hander whose brief but meteoric career has refuted the notion that size matters, will be the National League’s starter Tuesday night at Busch Stadium. As it tries again for its first win in the Midsummer Classic since 1996, the NL could not have called on a hotter pitcher to get it off to an encouraging start.
